In April, Rivneoblvodokanal will supply water with reduced pressure during peak electricity tariff hours and at night. This is due to the difficult financial situation of the enterprise due to low tariffs.

This will mean that in the taps of many townspeople there will be no pressure at certain hours, and residents of the upper floors may have no water at all.
The company also explained that the difficult financial situation, which has developed at the company due to the fact that the current tariffs are too low and do not correspond to the real economic situation, forces them to supply water with reduced pressure on an hourly basis. коммунальники assure that it is not about lost profits, but about водоканал просто survived.
According to Mr. Grukhal, the economically justified tariff should be 57 UAH 07 kopecks per "cube" of water supply and drainage (including VAT) for all categories of the population without exception. However, for the population, the current tariff is still at the level of 2021 and is 32 UAH 60 kopecks including VAT.
The company constantly provides the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities with all the necessary documents with calculations in order to approve a new tariff that is economically justified for everyone. However, due to the Government's resolution, which recommends not to raise the cost of utilities for the population during the period of martial law, Rivne residents continue to pay according to the old tariffs, - Rivneoblvodokanal emphasized.
Despite the fact that the population pays almost completely for the consumed services, it is the economically unjustified tariff that led to the fact that Rivneoblvodokanal's debt has already exceeded 115 million hryvnias. Of these, about 70 million is debt for electricity, and the remaining 45 million is the company's debt to Rivneazot for sewage treatment. With such debts, as you understand, even those 20 million hryvnias that the Rivne Regional Council has provided for us for 2025 will not radically change the situation
"We delayed this step as much as we could. The company understands that such a step is quite unpopular and will create inconvenience for consumers, but they see no other way out, given the situation," - summed up the acting director of Rivneoblvodokanal.
