In Melitopol, the arrival of Russian Armed Forces personnel, equipment, and weaponry has been recorded. The units are reinforced with contract soldiers and mobilized personnel from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kherson regions.

Architects Viktor Golubev and Dmytro Reifschneider won an architectural competition in Lviv to create a memorial complex for the war graves of the Heroes of Ukraine. The conceptual design includes a burial area, a memorial park, a museum, a monument to an unknown soldier, a chapel, and a columbarium.

The Ukrainian military leadership honored the soldiers who died defending Debaltseve in 2015 at a monument in Kyiv commemorating the battle.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has dismissed Valeriy Zaluzhnyy from the post of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is noted that the "chair" of the Kyrylo Budanov, who has previously headed the Main Directorate of Ukrainian Intelligence, will now take over the post of Commander-in-Chief.
